Each aspect of our CP training courses features practical teaching – including realistic live operations – as well as theory-based classes, to keep you fully engaged and to get you acclimatised to the fast-paced reality of life as a close protection operative.
Taking place over 18 days, our SIA close protection courses will not only prepare you to completely understand and meet the expectations of all clientele under an array of different environments and scenarios, but will also ensure you stand out to potential private security employers and individual clients as an exceptional and elite close protection operative.

Regulated First Aid Level 3 Certificate

Be able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
*Regulated First Aid Level 3 or similar medical course is required, If you do not hold this qualification, (we deliver a blended learning 2 day Level 3 First Aid at work course that includes an element of e-learning that needs to be completed immediately prior to the commencement of any CP course. This way, you can gain both your First Aid and CP qualification in a continuous 20 day period).
Please book well in advance where possible as there is some home learning required prior to attendance of the start of the First Aid course.

If you currently hold a L3 FA certificate, it must have at least 12 months of remaining validity in order to be eligible as a prerequisite for any of our training courses.

After course completion, we keep the communication lines open to help with licence issues, licence renewal, potential employment both with COBRA and other security providers
Future Employment
COBRA cannot guarantee future employment but with our strong industry links we will endeavour to ensure suitable candidates have the best chance of securing employment with associate private security providers.
